ResponderEliminarI like your idea of split the blog in different areas or subjects: “Language”, “Geography”…The webpage has an appealing appearance.
In the first activity of journalist not only you can work with different students writing skills, but also oral communication abilities. I believe that speaking is one of the most important skill to become proficient in English.
I like also the activity about “animal vocabulary”. Using a ppt is a nice idea, it is eye-catching? Furthermore, the information and task are levelly distributed. All the activities showed have quality and they are proper for Primary school learners, specially for the first years of Primary School (1º, 2º or 3º grade). Do you recommend me to use this activity in 3º year? My students love animals and they know perfectly a lot of names of them. I think that it is time to know certain animal the body parts. I am going to show your blog to my pupil. I am sure that they will be enthused by the idea that they will gain knowledge with your activities.
Your webpage is very interactive, dynamic and amusing. Therefore, this blog can become a hobby for a great deal of English students. Please, let me know if you will continue working on it.

ResponderEliminarI would like to comment that I really like this first activity about hobbies. I think, that the topic is very motivating for students, because they can share with their classmates their own experiences and interests: something they really like. That is why, I have also include this topic in some of my activities.
Besides, I would like to underline the importance of speaking skill. We can´t forget that the main aim of language learning is communication. This type of activities you have shared are very useful to practice the language (in this case English) in a natural way. So, from my point of view the topic is adequate for children and they can practice their speaking and listening skills in a natural way. Congratulations! I think your blog is useful and the activities are well raised.
